I don’t get taxis so much, Didi (think Uber) is just more convenient when your Chinese isn’t good. As well, they tend to drive more sensibly than taxis.

Just got a taxi and the only way I can explain is this… You know how in films where they throw money at the driver to get somewhere fast? It was like that, except he did it as standard. Weaving in and out of traffic, accelerating quickly, just pure reckless behaviour. Dread to think what it would have been like if we asked him to hurry!
